The Valencia Palms Photography Club held its 1st meeting of the season on October 19th @ 4:00 PM in the classroom.

Some members shared their images.
One of the topics discussed was the creation of the Valencia Palms Photo Club website. Everyone agreed with the idea. The beta version was shown to the members attending. The cost to create the site is $ 30.00 for the purchase of the domain name. We are fortunate and grateful to Jerry Levine’s daughter who has graciously volunteered to host the website on her company’s server at the cost of zero.
Gary will be developing the website and add relevant topics.

On the topic of the Gallery …
Each member of the club that has paid their yearly dues of $ 25.00 will have the option to contribute to the website and have their own gallery to display any pictures of their choice.

No password is required. This is a work in progress. Your thoughts, ideas and criticism are welcome.
Our field trip to Bedner’s Farm on Thursday October the 26th was changed to
Friday October 27th. We will be meeting at the entrance to Green Cay @ 8:00 AM
We briefly discussed the possibility to have a charitable sale of members images.
More discussion needed to make this happen.
Next scheduled meeting is Thursday November 16th @ 4:00 PM in the classroom.
